Venue / Lleoliad: Swansea University Indoor Athletics Track

Date / Dyddiad: Sunday 12th April

Events / Digwyddiadau: Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault. Maximum of 2 events per athlete.

Closing Date / Dyddiad Cau: Extended to Friday 11th April @ 23:59 (selected events only)

Information

• All events will take place at the indoor track, not outdoor.
• All athletes will need to sign in to collect their numbers and pins at least 45 minutes before their first event start time at the event site.
• Athletes will need to report directly to the event site – 20 minutes before start time, 30 minutes for pole vault.
• Long Jump and Triple Jump: three trials for under 12 to under 16 athletes, four trials for under 18, under 20 and seniors.
• Parent volunteers will be required to help with an event that your athlete is competing in, supporting the qualified officials with simple tasks such as raking the pit and replacing the bar. Please offer your assistance if there is a call out.
• Parking is available at the Singleton Hospital Staff Car Park and is free of charge.
• Results will be published after each event has been completed on the OpenTrack event page.

Age Groups & Events:

• U12 Boys & Girls = School Years 5 & 6:- Long Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault (PV for year 6 only, approval of a coach that the athlete is competent)
• U14 Boys & Girls = School Years 7 & 8:-  Long Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault
• U16 Boys & Girls = School Years 9 & 10:- Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault
  
• U18 Men & Women = School Years 11 & 12:- Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault
• U20 Men & Women = School Years 13 & 14:- Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault
• Senior Men & Senior Women:- Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault

All entrants shall be deemed to have made him/herself familiar with, and agreed to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules.

The UKA Anti-Doping Rules apply to entrants participating in the sport of Athletics, for 12 months from the [date of entry], whether or not the entrant is a citizen of, or resident in, the UK. [UKA website link]

Any athlete wishing to retire from the sport of athletics must put this in writing to the club and England Athletics and cancel any applicable membership. Official retirement will remove the athlete from being under the auspices of UKA’s anti-doping rules.
