Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers are proud to be promoting the first of two early-season throws meetings at StoneX Stadium, offering 6 throws for all athletes across all four throwing disciplines.

World Athletics Calendar meeting, Level 2 UKA licence (OUT 26/001) and EDM.

AGE GROUPS

This competition will be using the even-year age groups in use from the 2026 summer season onwards, i.e. U12, U14, U16, etc.

RECORDS & PRIZE MONEY

THROWSFEST RECORDS

We are delighted to be able to offer prize money at our Throwsfests for the first time in 2026, with the following criteria:

• Athletes are eligible to receive prize money if they break a senior meeting record, regardless of the age group they are competing in 
• Athletes will receive £100 for breaking a record, with an additional £10 added for every whole metre (hammer/discus/javelin) or whole 25 centimetres (shot) beyond the existing record
• If multiple athletes surpass an existing record, the lead athlete is eligible for full prize money, with other athlete(s) receiving £25
