Non-BMAF Area club members must be affiliated to a UKA Athletics club. Sorry no unattached athletes.

Medals will be awarded to the 1st three individuals in each five-year age category. Entries from 1st claim athletes registered with UKA clubs only.

Medals will also be awarded to the first three club teams (3 to count), men and women, in ten-year age categories – 35 to 44, 45 to 54, 55 to 64, 65 to 74, 75+

Teams are decided automatically according to the team age category (10-year age bands 35-44, 55-44, etc): the fastest three of each club’s members in an age category become the club's first team and if there are three more club members in the same age category they will make up a second team. Down-ageing is only permitted if there are not enough natural age category runners in the ten-year age categories. Most of the possible down-aging is self-evident and will be set up before individual entries close.  Some clubs however have choices they can make, as indicated in the current list of teams. Composite teams must be declared by Thursday 19th March by 19.00. Teams may need to be changed depending who is there on the day and last-minute changes are allowed up to 11.30 a.m. on Saturday, 21st March.

Race numbers to be collected from the registration desk at the Park on the day. This will be available from 10.30. Toilets are available in the nearby Tollcross International Swimming Centre, as are light refreshments. There are also many nearby shops. No showers or changing facilities available.
