THE NICK PHIPPS ATHLETICS MEET - POLE VAULT COMPETITION

ALSO NOW INCLUDING LONG JUMP 

The second of an annual competition in memory of Nick Phipps, a long-standing member of Woking AC & brilliant pole vault/decathlon coach.

After a very successful competition last year, we’re planning 2 pools this year and opening up entries to all. **UPDATE: Last minute addition of long jump competition (see below for more details)**

Nick always loved an end of season comp, so hope to see lots of you there!

PV DETAILS:

- Pool 1: Competition start time: 10am (warm up from 9am); Start height - 1.21m 

- Pool 2: Competition start time: 1pm (warm up from 12 /once pool 1 finished); Start height - 2.81m

- Bar progressions of 10cm

LJ DETAILS: 

- Competition start time: 10am (warm up jumps from 9:30am) 

- 4 jumps per athlete 

Final details will be emailed nearer the time.

- To access the track with poles, please use the far left gate which leads up the side of the school at the back of the car park (see attached image)
