Teddy Hall Relays is back for 2026! The format remains unchanged from previous years, comprising a relay of 4 x 4.35 mile (7km) scenic legs around the centre of Oxford, with races starting and finishing at the iconic Iffley Road Track, the site of Roger Bannister’s famous sub-4 minute mile. It’s always a fantastic day and has been hugely successful in recent years, with over 180 teams last year. We want to make this year's event even bigger and better than before, so this isn't a race you'll want to miss! Teams don’t need to be from a club or have years of experience; whether its just 4 friends, a college or department, everyone is welcome. There are categories for Women’s, Men’s and Mixed teams, all of which will be contested over 4 legs. Post-run join us for free snacks and warm drinks at the nearby OURFC Pavillion.

Entries

One person will need to enter a team, either by searching for an existing club or creating a new one ('add a club not in the database') - fun team names are encouraged! After creating or selecting a club, enter one of the three categories (Men, Women, Mixed) and pay for the entry. You can enter multiple teams from the same club, with team declaration opening a week before the event for you to name your runners. Unfortunately we cannot accept entries from under-18s. 

Rules

All teams are of 4 legs.

Team Declaration will open on 5th March 2026 and remain open until 13th March, so teams can alter and change their runners up until the day of competition. Just please remember to declare your team either before or within two days after the event. 

The Mixed Category is awarded to teams of 2 or 3 Female athletes

A team of 3 Males and 1 Female athlete is in the Male Team category

Prizes will be given for the top 3 in each category. Categories include:
