Join us for the Burghclere Fun Run, a friendly, inclusive community running event set in the heart of Burghclere, raising vital funds to support Burghclere Sports Club.

Whether you’re an experienced runner, a casual jogger, or taking part with family and friends, this event is all about getting involved, having fun, and supporting a brilliant local club.

🏃‍♂️ The Event

Distances:

5K - entry cost £10 - entrants must be over 11yrs

10K -  entry cost £18 - entrants must be over 15yrs 

Start Time: 11:00am

Location: Burghclere Sports Club, RG20 9JD

Parking: The Clere School, Earlstone Common, Burghclere, Newbury, Berkshire, RG20 9HP (2 mins walk)

Terrain: Road with small section of trail 

Timing: Chip Timing 

Affiliation: Non-UKA (open to all abilities)

The course takes you through a mix of trails and paths, offering a scenic and enjoyable run suitable for all levels.

Trophies for:

1st Male & Female – 5K

1st Male & Female – 10K

Children’s races with trophies for winners

School years - 1-2 400m 

School years - 3-4 800m 

School years - 5-6 1200m

Course - Laps of Burghclere playing fields, entry cost £3 per child

Burghclere Sports Club has recently been saved through the generosity of its members and supporters. This event is part of a wider fundraising campaign to secure the club’s future and keep sport accessible for the local community.

Every entry helps make a difference.

How to Enter - please register each person entering as an athlete (including children) on the OpenTrack site, then sign up for the race.   Entries close 20th February 2026 at 12:00pm.
