Autumn Mile Race Challenge

Race Information:

Distance is 1 mile.

Race starts at 9:30am on Sunday 7^th Decmber 2025.

Race Route: Start just past Regal House → Straigh dash all along Queensway down into Dockyard Road → Finish just before the entrance to the Europa Business Centre.

Individual Registration Fee is £8 for the race. No cash payments will be accepted on the day.

Trophies will be awarded to first, second and third placed Male/Female runners in the following categories:

• Seniors 18 to 39
• Masters 40+
• Juniors 16 to 17
• Boys/Girls 14 to 15
• Boys/Girls 12 to 13

The following must be adhered to:

• Warm up to be done prior to arriving. Athletes must arrive 15 minutes prior to the race start time.
• Bibs not to be returned back once used.
• Toilet facilities may not be available on the day of the race.

Note: This is a ‘Road Race’ and as with all road races care must be taken with road traffic and pedestrians. Marshals will be placed at intervals across the route.

How to Register:

Race Registration:

No registration on the day. Registration is to be done prior to the event with a cut-off date of Thursday 4^th December 2025. This must be done by completing the online registration form available on this page under “Race Registration”. Team captains are encouraged to submit (if possible) one registration form with full details of their team for the race rather than have all individuals register themselves.

Bib Collection Information:

GIBFIBRE league race bibs to be used. If you dont have one, a new bib will be handed out on the day by Council Member Mr. Roy Torres.
