Timetable & Start-lists online
Note there have been some timetable changes. All athletes/parents should check the Start Lists via the tab above
By doing so, all athletes should know their start time, heat, lane number, etc. Each race has its specific heat time listed e.g. 100m races are separated by 5 minutes.
Once the meet begins, that link above will provide live track results.
Bib collection
Please report to the club room to collect your bib number. Bib number is to be pinned to the front of your vest.
There is no reporting deadline but we recommend that athletes warm up for at least 20mins before their first event, therefore they'll need to collect their bib before this.
Moving around the arena
- Athletes MUST NEVER enter the roped-off infield area (for obvious safety reasons) as there may be training or competitive discus throws in progress
- They must also avoid crossing the finish line during or just before a race commence
Track events
- All athletes must report to the start area 10mins before the scheduled start. It is necessary to ensure smooth preparation for each race for the starts team and sticking stress-free to the timetable
- Athletes can continue their warm-up routines in this area whilst keeping aware of any shout-outs from the starts team to sign-in or come to the start-line
Field events
- It is each athlete's responsibility to ensure any practice jumps/throws take place BEFORE the allotted competition start time. There should be officials at the site in advance of the start time to allow this
- We recommend to be at the throws/jumps site at least 10mins before the start time
- If there is a clash with a track event - the officials will do their utmost to let athletes achieve as many attempts as possible but cannot pause the competition to allow practice attempts
Additional notes for U13/ new athletes
- Athletes should warm up with a short jog followed by a combination of drills and dynamic stretches that they've experienced in training. We recommend approx 15mins of these in a relaxed manner following their jog. Next, they should get into spikes (unless throwing) and do "strides" (short runs at increasing speed) for approx 10mins with relaxed recoveries. They should then be good to go!
Long Jump
- Any U13's doing both the 150 and Long Jump may wish to measure their run-ups out before the 150 races. They are welcome to do so and use the provided markers to mark their run-up. They can then do their practice jumps once they've recovered from the 150
- The pit will be manned from 11:30am to assist with run-ups and practice jumps
Volunteers
- We would be extremely grateful if anyone was interested in assisting our officials teams. This can involve gaining a qualification or simply being an assistant to our established officials. Please reply by email if you can assist this weekend and/or going forwards!
Canteen
- Mel King has kindly volunteered to run the canteen again - please pop into the club room to purchase tea, coffee, cold drinks or snacks.
