THE EVENT is a cross country race for “Masters” athletes M35/W35 and older.

Races at 13:30 and 14:30

The course is approx. 3.1 km per lap

13:30pm for all Women's age groups and 65 and over - 2 laps approx 6.3km

14:30pm for Men 35 to M60 inclusive - 3 laps approx 9.3km 

Start and Finish will be close to Nonsuch Mansion, where there are public toilets and a coffee shop.

ENTER AS AN INDIVIDUAL.  TEAM ENTRY IS NOT NECESSARY. 

NO LATE ENTRIES / NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY. 

NOTE As 2024 M35 runners are included; M60-64 must enter Race 2. M65+ should enter Race 1.

ELIGIBILITY Athletes must have a current EA registration and must be Surrey qualified. "Surrey" means the ancient County and includes most of south west London. For details see www.surreyathletics.uk/qualification/index.php 

CLUB VESTS MUST BE WORN

ON RACE DAY

COLLECT NUMBERS ON THE DAY. Please allow plenty of time.
Ideally one person from the club will collect the envelope for all runners in each group.
There will be a separate envelope per club for:

Race 1 Women  

Race 1 Men

Race 2 Men

You will also be given a number to indicate your age category.  THIS MUST BE WORN ON YOUR BACK.

MEDALS: Medals will be awarded to individuals in 5-year Categories from M35 and W35 and for teams Men 35/45/55/65 and Women 35/45/55.

TEAM MEDALS: You do not need to make a team entry, the first 3 finishers from the club in the age group will score.
Older runners cannot be included in M35; 45; 55 teams or W35; 45 teams.
W55 and M65 teams will include the first 3 athletes in those age Cats or older.

For both individuals and teams, Gold / Silver / Bronze medals are awarded ONLY if more than 8 entries in the Category; Gold / Silver if 5-8; Gold alone if 4 or fewer.

GETTING THERE:

Public Transport:  By Train to Stoneleigh or Cheam. 
Several bus routes pass the park including 151, 470, X26 and 293

Nonsuch Park runs alongside the A24 London Rd at Stoneleigh.
There are two vehicle entrances and car parks from London Rd and a third in the northeast corner at Cheam gate, also pedestrian access in the southwest from Castle Av.
Car parking is not generous.
You will find some street parking to the west of London Rd at Stoneleigh.
There is better street parking although harder to find around Castle Avenue.
There is a shoppers car park in Cheam village.

ULEZ:
Nonsuch Park is on the border of the ULEZ.
The entrance at Cheam gate is inside the zone.
If you want to avoid it drive to the south end of the park.
