Races will start and finish at the iconic Iffley Road Track, the site of Roger Bannister’s famous sub-4 minute mile and the format remains unchanged from previous years, comprising a relay of 4 x 4.35 mile (7km) scenic legs around the centre of Oxford. Runners (students and non-students) of all abilities are welcome.

Registration Time: 11:30 am

Race Time: 1:30 pm

Cost: £11 per person (£44 per team).

Entries close: 28th Feb 2024

Free tea afterwards at St Edmund Hall and prizes for category winners

Rules

All teams are of 4 legs.

Team Declaration will open on 28th Feb 2024 and remain open until 8th March, so teams can alter and change their runners up until the day of competition. Just please remember to declare your team either before or within two days after the event. 

The Mixed Category is awarded to teams of 2 or 3 Female athletes

A team of 3 Males and 1 Female athlete is in the Male Team category

Prizes will be given for the top 3 in each category. Categories include:

• Male Team
• Female Team
• Mixed Team
• Oxford College Team
• Oxford Department Team
• External Team

Entries

One person (with an OpenTrack account) will need to enter a team, either by searching for an existing club or creating a new one. After creating or selecting a club, enter one of the three categories (Men, Women, Mixed) and pay for the entry. You can enter multiple teams from the same club, with team declaration opening a week before the event for you to declare your runners.
