One Mo Minithon to end the season, hosted by the double double Olympic Champion Sir Mo Farah.

Combine 3 Track & Field events for a total Minithon score. Children may select any 3 events on the day.

This amazing event will include:

• Live DJ, Bubbly host and Officials.
• Events include run, jump & throw.
• Children can enter 1, 2, or 3 events at a total cost of £23 per athlete.
• Medals awarded to all children taking part.
• Trophies awarded to top 3 Minithon scores in each age group.

• Opportunity to race against 6 x World Champion Mo.

*Late Entries may be accepted in the U9 and U13 age groups, subject to approval from the meet organisers. The U11 age group has reached maximum capacity.

Entries are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless the event is cancelled due to a fault of the organiser.

MINITHON TIMETABLE

Minithon Rules

The Minithon is designed as an introduction into athletics competition for Children. With this in mind we do not run under UKA rules, we use these rules as a guideline with the following differences; 

• All track events are run as UKA rules with a leniency on running within lanes (for circular events)
• Hurdle races for U13 shall be correct height and distance
• Under 11 hurdles are 53cm for both boys and girls without weights
• All field events will be 2 jumps and throws unless numbers allow us to give an extra attempt. A decision shall be made prior to the competition and will not be changed on the day
• In the Long Jump the Officials will judge using sight alone
• Where we run a 2 jump competition if an athlete has 2 no jumps the athlete shall be allowed a third and final attempt
• The high jump will go up in 5cm increments then 3cm when last 3 athletes remain.
• Turbo Javelin will be as a standard Javelin competition with the exception of using Turbo Javelins and not real ones
• Athletes who take part in 4 or more events will have their 3 best scores taken away
• Medals will be awarded to all participants
• 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies will be awarded to Top 3 highest scoring overall points for Boys & Girls in each age group

Due to the nature of this event (fun, enjoyable and fair) the discretion of the officials will be used
