Bib collection

Please check the Competitiors tab to find your allocated number. We have new (smaller) bib numbers that have belatedly arrived! So please report to the club room to collect your bib, even if you have one from the last fixture. Your new bib must be retained for the whole series. It is to be worn on the front of your vest.

There is no reporting deadline but we recommend that athletes warm up for at least 25mins before their first event, therefore they'll need to collect their bib before this. Note that you should plan your arrival off YOUR events, not the general start time.

Start-lists online

All athletes/parents should check the Start Lists tab above Once the meet begins, that link above will provide live track results.

From this link, all athletes should know their start times, heat, lane number, etc. Each race has its specific heat time listed e.g. 100m races are separated by 5 minutes.

It is recommended that athletes doing multiple events to plan their schedule out with parents in advance so they know exactly where to be and when.

Track events

  • All athletes must report to the start area 10mins before the scheduled start. It is necessary to ensure smooth preparation for each race for the starts team and sticking stress-free to the timetable
  • Athletes can continue their warm-up routines in this area whilst keeping aware of any shout-outs from the starts team to sign-in or come to the start-line

Field events

  • We recommend to be at the throws/jumps site at least 10mins before the start time and practice throws/jumps will be possible
  • If there is a clash with a track event - the officials will do their utmost to let athletes achieve as many attempts as possible - so communicating with the officials is important (they are here to help!)
  • Due to high numbers of entries, the Javelin for U15 and above will start 15mins early at 11:15am
  • There are two start times for both Javelin and Long Jump, again due to high entry numbers. Note that these can be found by clicking on the relevant event on the Start List/ Results link. The U13 section for Javelin starts 11:50am and for Long Jump 1:05pm

Additional notes for U13 athletes

  • Athletes should warm up with a short jog followed by a combination of drills and dynamic stretches that they've experienced in training. We recommend approx 15mins of these in a relaxed manner following their jog. Next, they should get into spikes (unless throwing) and do "strides" (short runs at increasing speed) for approx 10mins with relaxed recoveries. They should then be good to go!
  • In Javelin and Long Jump there will not be any coaching during the competition - the athletes should all be familiar with how to throw/jump from training sessions. The officials job is to ensure the competition runs smoothly and is enjoyable!
  • The 1500m takes place during the javelin. I expect the athletes to get one or two throws before the race, and their remaining throw(s) straight afterwards. The javelin area is close by to the 1500m start which will make things easier.
  • The Long Jump takes place immediately after the 100m. Athletes must head to Long Jump as soon as their 100m is done. They will need to measure their run-up out in a timely manner!
