This Challenge Meet and Young Athletes competition is following on the events that were organized in Challenge 1 and Young Athletes 3, alternating with the events held for these categories at the last AM organised competition on the 11 March 2023.

These events will be following this pattern until such time as the Technical Committee and the initiative being undertaken by a number of coaches, if not all, to determine a standard pattern to be followed for the rest of the season.  It is hoped that this standard of alternating events which will be agreed upon will be adopted each T & F season.

While it is appreciated that our sport comprises many disciplines and the majority of which will be put up on in a regular manner, one and all need to understand constraints arising from the preparation for particular competitions, both locally and overseas, the demands put forward by the National School of Sport, the availabilty of AM officials and helpers and the exposure to as many different disciplines as possible for the youngsters, until such time and ages when our budding starlets will come to specialization.
