Clubs, coaches and athletes are to note that for the Winter Championships the first three in each event will be awarded medals. However, the usual rules apply regarding the number of athletes in any event to be sufficient for awards. Thus for two participants only the first will be awarded, for three participants the first two and the third place will only be awarded when there are four or more participants.
Another important point to be noted is the current decision of the AM Council which PRECLUDES awards of podium medals for participants that DO NOT possess Maltese nationality. Therefore prizes would go to the next in line Maltese National.
