To compete in the DCAA Championships, competitors must:

  • be born in Dorset or
  • have lived continuously in Dorset for at least nine months preceding the event or
  • be a student in residence at a School, College or University in Dorset and

not have competed in the Championships of, or represented at Inter-County Championships, a County other than Dorset since 1st October 2022.

ALL AGE GROUPS can enter:

100m, 200m, LONG JUMP, HIGH JUMP, POLE VAULT, SHOT, DISCUS, JAVELIN, HAMMER, TRIPLE JUMP (EXCL. U13)

SPECIFIC AGE GROUPS can also enter:

U13B - 800m or 1500m, 75mH

U13G - 800m or 1500m, 70mH

U15B - 300m, 800m or 1500m or 3000m, 80mH

U15G - 300m, 800m or 1500m or 3000m, 75mH

U17M - 400m, 800m, 1500m, 1500m STEEPLECHASE, 3000m, 100mH, 400mH

U17W - 300m, 800m, 1500m, 1500m STEEPLECHASE, 3000m, 80mH, 300mH

U20M/SM  U20W/SW - 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 5000m, 100mH/110mH, 400mH, 2000m OR 3000m (SM) STEEPLECHASE

Subject to demand there will be some Masters Track Events. There will not be Masters hurdles events.

Only one competitor:

In the event of there being only 1 competitor in an event the organisers reserve the right to cancel that event. However, they will attempt to contact that athlete before a final decision is made.

All entrants shall be deemed to have made him/herself familiar with, and agreed to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules.

The UKA Anti-Doping Rules apply to entrants participating in the sport of Athletics, for 12 months from the date of entry, whether or not the entrant is a citizen of, or resident in, the UK.
