The 18TH FOLKESTONE ROTARY HALF MARATHON will incorporate the British Masters Athletics Championships
on SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 24TH 2023 With a RACE START at 10AM. 

This is a fund-raising event by Folkestone Rotary Club

Entry to Half Marathon including the BMAF Championships:
BMAF area club members £22.00   Non-members £25.00

If you have already entered the Half Marathon via Nice-Work, UKA-registered athletes can also compete in the BMAF Championships:
BMAF area club members: Free   Non-members £3.00

(Joining an area club costs very little and many of the area clubs accept new members via BMAF OpenTrack.  This can be done without waiting for confirmation, before you enter the championships in order to save the cost of the non-member supplement.)  

The closing date for entries will be Sunday 17th September. No late entries will be accepted.

 Route

• Distance: 13.1 miles (21.1 km)
• Location: Folkestone to Hythe (and back again)
• Terrain: Mainly flat promenade, mostly free of road traffic

Prizes of the open race

• Cash prizes and trophies for race winners — various categories
• £100 to both first male and first lady home
• £100 bonus for course record broken
• Medals are awarded to all finishers
• Spot prizes will be handed out on the day

BMAF medals Gold ,Silver and Bronze in 5 year age groups starting at 35years will be awarded after the open prize giving.

Final details will be emailed to all Championship entries by 21st September.
