On Race Day
Team managers must collect an envelope with number cards and declaration sheets. Race HQ will be in one of the changing rooms close to the start (not Old Guildfordians club room)
You must declare athletes in every team before the start of the race. Names can only come from the squads declared earlier.
Eligibility
Clubs affiliated to SCAA can enter teams.
All athletes must have a valid EA licence and must have either been born in Surrey or have residential claim.
Surrey qualification rules can be found at https://www.surreyathletics.org.uk/qualification .
CLUB VESTS MUST BE WORN
Athletes must run in their own age group. A member of an U17 or U15 team may run a second leg to make up an otherwise incomplete team but the second team will be deemed non-scoring, and only the athlete’s first leg will be considered for the fastest lap medal.
U13 athletes must not run a second leg as this will exceed the maximum distance permitted by the licensing standards.
Medals
Medals will be awarded to the members of the first three teams in every race.
A medal will also be awarded to the runner with the fastest lap in every race.
Medal presentations will be made near the start and finish area and as soon as possible after the finish of every race
Getting There
There is no parking at the venue itself. You can find parking spaces on adjoining roads or in car parks at the opposite end of Stoke Park. Allow time to walk to the start.
