Athletics Northern Ireland is committed to supporting athletics officials as well as coaches and athletes. We recognise the importance of our officials, who play a vital role in making our events run smoothly. 

From officiating at Senior Championships to officiating at young athletes meetings, officials are essential for maintaining the highest levels of integrity at every level of competition. This section offers resources for current officials, as well as those seeking certification.

How Do I get Started?

Knowledge/experience of athletics is not essential as full training will be provided. Full details of the qualifications pathway are available from the British Athletics website www.britishathletics.org.uk
