NWCE is a brand new OPEN championships in the North West for Combined Eventers.

Incorporating the County championships for Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire and Cumbria, NWCE is an Open championship that aims to show-off the facilities at Wavertree stadium and offer a significant development opportunity to our athletes, coaches and officials.

We’re delighted that this event has been chosen to also incorporate both the National Masters Combined Events championships as well as the long-running Northern Athletics championships for the U20 and Senior age groups. A truly vast competitive opportunity.

We believe that NWCE will be a unique experience as it stages U15, U17, U20, Seniors and Masters competitions side-by-side for both Men and Women; a great competition, on a great stage with guaranteed great weather* you can’t miss the start of what we hope will become a traditional fixture in the Combined Events calendar.

Important; In order to ensure the packed schedule is delivered on time entry numbers are restricted in each age group category so early entry is advised. The first ten days after entries are opened will give priority to County championship, BMAF and Northern Athletics entrants. All others after this point will enter on a first-come-first-served basis until field numbers are full. Entries will close 5 days before the championship event. If you need to withdraw your entry for any reason you can do so up to this point through the website entry system. The waiting-list of entries will then be used to fill any places vacated by withdrawals. Any refunds will be less OpenTrack's and Stripe's fees.   No refunds will be given after this 5-day point.

However we urge anyone not able to attend the event, even after this 5-day point, to alert the organisers to the fact so we can enable athletes on the waiting-list to be entered.

We’re grateful to the Counties who have supported us, the Masters and Northern Athletics organisations which have trusted us with their championships and Liverpool City council and the club Liverpool Harriers for being great partners in building this event. Thank you.
