This is the 2022 Northern Masters Cross Country Championships, open to all past and present members of the club (NMAC).
I declare a COVID amnesty for all members lapsed since or non-renewed since 01/01/2016, to welcome us all back to what will hopefully be a full year of athletic competition.

Our event is incoprporated in the Mid-Lancs League match (Round 5) of the 2021-22 season, at the Leigh Sports Village home of the great Leigh Harriers & AC, at Turner St, Leigh WN7 4GX.
All athletes declared by their clubs in the Mid-Lancs League will be included in this championship, and entry for all other NMAC members is as a guest via the Sport Soft online entry system at SportSoft Results
All our thanks go to the Mid-Lancs and Leigh Harriers for allowing us to include our championships in this competition event.

There will be two events, true to Northern Masters standards and not complying with WMA rules, one for women and Over-70 men over 6km, and one for men 35 to 69 over 10km, of reclaimed quarry land at the Pennington Flash. Good access from the M6 and M60 and the East Lancs road.

Events: 

Race 1 13-306km All Women and Men 70+
Race 2 14-15 10km M35 to M65

Medals will be awarded to the first three finishers in each five-year age category from 35 to 100+. 

There is no realistic possibility of producing results on the day in an acceptable timescale, but the Leigh Harriers clubroom will be available for refreshments and a social.
The results will be calculated as soon as possible after the event and the medals will be despatched by post.
