This entry is for masters athletes (anyone over the age of 35) who wish to compete in the British Masters Marathon Championsips.  This is part of the Isle of Man marathon but you should only pay for your race entry here if you have not already entered the race via another route.

British Masters entries close 09/08/2022.

UKA registration is mandatory for entry to the championships for all UK residents or those who are members of a UK-registered club.  The cost of entry to the Isle of Man marathon for UKA registered athletes is £30.   

If you are a member of one of the British Masters area clubs, your entry to the championships is free but otherwise you will need to pay a supplement of £5 up to 30th June and £7 thereafter. For further information regarding joining the area club who hosts competitions in your region of the UK, refer to the BMAF website.

Medals will be awarded to first three in each five-year age category from 35 to 100+.

BMAF Area Clubs can also use this event as their own marathon championships.

Bus transport to and from Douglas avaialble at a cost of £11.00 per person but places must be booked in advance. More information abut the Isle of Man marathon and the bus transport is available here  If you are member of an Isle of Man running club (Not Manx Tri Club) then you will also be entered in the IOM championships, 

If you wish more of a challenge, then there is the NO REST FOR THE WICKED series of 5 more shorter races around the beautiful Isle of Man in successive days after the marathon,  The cost of entry to the full series is an additional £30 to be paid locally.
