This event is for masters’ athletes (anyone over the age of 35) who wish to compete in the British Masters 5 km Road Championships at Battersea Park, London SW11 4NJ (Race HQ at the Bandstand).

The 5k course is traffic-free on a flat circular tarmac course. Battersea Park is the perfect venue for a fast road race with all the infrastructure in place.

Cost of entry = £18 for BMAF area club members, £23 for non-members (with a £5 refund for anyone entering the 10 mile on 27th November as well - to be paid once entries for the 5k close). Joining an area club means you don't pay any supplements. VAC have a special rate of £6 for 6 months and many of the clubs don't charge much more for a full year

All finishers to received a BMAF buff.

Medals will be awarded to the first three finishers in each five-year age category from 35 to 100+. Entries from UKA clubs are welcome; team composition by UKA Club: 1st claim members; first 3 women’s/men’s teams 35-44, 45-54, etc, if at least 2 teams finish. Declaration not necessary; No down-ageing allowed (PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE).

M55-64:  6 Teams Veterans AC, HHH, Horsham Joggers, Striders of Croydon, Brighton Phoenix, Guildford & Godalming
