TH&H International Schools Cross-Country Race 5km
Thames Hare & Hounds was founded 151 years ago and was the first club to develop the team sport of cross-country running. This virtual event is open to school teams worldwide. 5km to be run at any time during the given dates. Runs can be undertaken anywhere but, wherever possible should be off-road, cross-country. e.g. SW London schools could use Richmond Park or Wimbledon Common. Confirmation by garmin, strava, etc appreciated. Teams may be any number, made up of bona fide attendants of the school up to and including the age of 18. Results will be analysed as 4 to score, 10 to score, Open, M and F, and age, with a special recognition for the team with the highest number of entrants.
This event is intended as a fun event to encourage as many young people of any standard to get out into the open, running alone or with members of their families or others depending on what's allowed.
