The events are intended to give athletes from clubs and schools additional competition opportunities. This year there are open 5000m, 3000m, Mile and steeplechase events which also include the Cambs AA Championships.
These are all Open events - everyone is welcome to enter - Athletes do not need to be Cambridgeshire eligible (except to qualify for Cambs championships medals), or to be members of a Cambridgeshire club.
The events will be as follows (times are approximate):
Wednesday June 10th
18.45 70/75/80m hurdles U13 and under 15 Girls and Boys
19.05 80m (under 11’s)
19.15 Males Open 3k, 2k and 1.5k Steeplechases (Inc. Cambs County Championship events)
19.35 100m Wheelchair athletes
19.40 100m (All ages (not U11’s), graded races
20.00 150m (Under 11’s)
20.10 800m all ages (not U11’s), graded races
20.30 800m Wheelchair athletes (inc Cambs County championship)
20.40 1500m all ages (not U11’s), graded races
19.00 Hammer (Under 13 to Senior, Limited to 15 athletes max
19.00 Shot put (Under 11’s)
19.45 Long-jump (Under 13’s up to Seniors, Limited to 15 athletes max
20.00 Shot put (Under 13’s up to Seniors, Limited to 15 athletes max
Entry fees - £3.75/£2.25 (£3/£1.50 for under 11's)
Entries for track events and under 11's will also be accepted on the night
