As build up to the EMA Madeira Championships six Virtual Races are being held The inidividual and team winners of the six competition will be awarded a prize at the Madeira Championship

August – Half Marathon

How to compete

1. Sign in to your OpenTrack account, creating an account if needed
2. Enter competition by 31st August with the green Enter Here button, following instructions, paying the €3.00 entry fee 
3. Race your half marathon in August
4. Upload a URL of your GPS proof of activity with the yellow Submit Results button
5. Follow Results and Scores using the links below

Rules

• If possible please use a well measured road course (km.21,0975, avoiding downhill runs or elevation loss)
• Local safety and social distancing rules should be adhered to
• Times should be based on “time elapsed”
• The organiser may implement a time penalty or disqualification on activities with significant rule deviation

National Team scoring format

• Fastest 3 athletes per country, per age category 
• Best 12 age-graded athletes (all ages and genders)
